Meet the Physicians and Physician Assistants of DPSC

The physicians at DPSC are all board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Diseases. They are all Fellows of the American College of Chest Physicians. Some members of the group have additional board certifications in Sleep Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. They are all active members of the medical staffs at Banner Desert Medical Center, Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Heart Hospital.
Our physician assistants are all certified and maintain their certification through rigorous ongoing continuing medical education.
Specialty – Chest Diseases and Sleep Disorders
Dr. Gill completed medical school at Dayanand Medical College in India. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Grant Hospital of Chicago (Rush University) in Chicago, Illinois followed by a dual fellowship in pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center (Tufts University School of Medicine) in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Gill joined Desert Pulmonary Consultants in 1997 and practices both pulmonary and sleep medicine. He is the Medical Director of the Banner Baywood Sleep Center and has served as the Chairman of the Respiratory Care Committee at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care medicine and sleep medicine. Dr. Gill sees both pulmonary and sleep disorder patients. He has been named a Phoenix Magazine Top Doc in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Dr. Bohan completed medical school at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona and completed both her internal medicine residency and fellowship in pulmonary disease at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. She joined Desert Pulmonary Consultants in 2000. She is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease. Her practice focuses on treatment of pulmonary disease.

Ian Pieroni, PA-C earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Northern Arizona University, graduating with distinction. Before becoming a physician assistant, he served nearly a decade as a Fire Captain in the United States Air Force.

Ian specializes in pulmonary and sleep medicine, providing comprehensive evaluation and management of a wide range of respiratory and sleep disorders. He is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care and believes in helping patients understand their diagnoses and treatment options, empowering them to take an active role in their health.
